Every Tuesday welcomes a weekly reset to Destiny 2, and here’s everything we know about this week’s content, including the Nightfall weapon and Throne World activities. Here’s the full Destiny 2 weekly reset for August 1.
The Season of the Deep has kicked off in Destiny 2 and has introduced plenty of new content to the game, including a new story quest that begins to bridge the end of Lightfall and the anticipated final expansion, The Final Shape.
Players can also get stuck into brand-new season pass content, and utilize new Strand aspects. There’s even a brand new Exotic Scout Rifle plus its catalyst which are perfect for Stasis builds so there’s no shortage of content in this latest season.

Destiny 2 Weekly Reset Time
Here’s everything to attempt before 5 PM GMT/10 AM PT/1 PM ET on August 8, at which point we’ll have the new reset info.
Weekly Nightfall (August 1 – 8)
This week the featured Nightfall is Fallen S.A.BE.R, a relatively easy strike that takes place on the Cosmodrome. Given that this is fairly straightforward this is the perfect chance to take advantage of this week’s double Nightfall rewards.

Nightfall: Hero | |
Shielded Foes | You will face combatant with Arc, Solar & Void shields. |
Hero Modifiers | Extra shields, Maximum Effective Level 1765 |
Champion Foes | You will face Barrier & Overload Champions. |
Arc Threat | 25% increase to incoming Arc damage. |
Arach-No! | When defeated, Fallen Vandals spawn a web mine at their feet. |
Overcharged Weapons | Weapon overcharges from the Seasonal Activity are activity in this activity. Kinetic weapons deal increased damage when your subclass element matches an active surge. |
Arc Surge | 25% bonus to outgoing Arc damage. |
Strand Surge | 25% bonus to outgoing Strand damage. |
Overcharged Fusion Rifles | 25% bonus to Fusion Rifle damage. |
Galvanized | Combatants have more health and are more difficult to stun. |

Equipment Locked | You will not be able to change your equipment after the activity starts. |

Chaff | Radar is disabled. |
Extinguish | If your fireteam falls in a Restricted Zone, everyone is returned to orbit. |
- Powerful Gear (Tier 1) reward: Complete Vanguard playlist using the same subclass element as the currently active elemental surge. Higher difficulties grant the most efficient progress.
- Pinnacle Gear reward: Earn points by completing Nightfalls (200,000).
What is the Destiny 2 Nightfall Weapon this week (August 1 – 8)?
This week’s Nightfall Weapon is the Loaded Question Arc Fusion Rifle, a fantastic High-Impact Frame for PvE that gets access to perks like Overflow, Auto-Loading Holster, Controlled Burst, and Frenzy.

Weekly Dungeon & Raid
- Dungeon: Prophecy
- Raid: Vow of the Disciple
Weekly Crucible Rotation
- Clash: Fight for victory by defeating opponents.
- Mayhem: Achieve victory by defeating opponents. Abilities and Supers regenerate faster. Heavy ammo spawns more frequently.
Neptune Activities
This is the rotation for Neptuna and Neomuna’s weekly activities for August 1 – 8:
- Weekly Mission: Breakneck – Stop the Vex incursion of the Neomuni CloudArk.
- Vex Incursion Zone: Zephyr Concourse – The Vex are testing ClloudArk defenses in this region. Reality fractures as the VexNet bleeds through into Neomuna.
- Partition: Hard Reset: Backdoor – Break into a Vex Mind’s stronghold and defeat it.
Legacy Activities
This is the rotation for all Legacy locations including Throne World, Europa, Moon & Dreaming City for August 1 – 8:
Throne World
- Campaign Mission: The Cunning – Following a lead from Fynch, search the dark corners of Savathûn’s throne world for another clue to how she stole the Light.
Europa
- Eclipsed Zone: Eventide Ruins
- Empire Hunt: The Dark Priestess – Hero: Defeat the new leader of the Fallen, Kridis, the Dark Priestess.
- Exo Challenge: Simulation: Survival: Simulated Skill-Set Training: Survive the harsh weather as you take down the Vex.
Moon:
- Campaign Mission: Beyond
- Wandering Nightmare: Nightmare of Xortal, Sworn of Crota (Sorrow’s Harbor)
- Trove Guardian is in Archer’s LIne
Dreaming City
- Petra is at The Strand
- Weekly Mission: Broken Courier – Respond to a distress call in the Strand.
- Ascendant Challenge: Agonarch Abyss, Bay of Drowned Wishes
- Blind Well: Scorn, Plagues: Sikariis & Varkuuriis

The Destiny 2 Weekly Reset arrives every Tuesday at 10 AM PT | 1 PM ET | 5 PM GMT | 3 AM AEST (Wednesday).
At that point, the following will change:
