Who is Fu Xuan in Honkai Star Rail?

Serving as the leader of the Divination Commission in Xianzhou Luofu, Fu Xuan is a self-assured and respected sage. Details about her are sparse, but she is known to use her third eye in tandem with the Matrix of Prescience to chart Xianzhou’s course and foretell the outcomes of future events.

As a member of The Preservation Path and a Quantum elemental user, Fu Xuan boasts robust defensive strengths. We’ll be sure to update this section once the game’s developers disclose specifics about her involvement in Honkai Star Rail’s story. 

Is there a Fu Xuan release date in Honkai Star Rail?

No, Fu Xuan has yet to receive an official release date. However, according to leaks, she could make her debut in the first half of the Version 1.3 update. Version 1.3 is expected to launch on August 30, 2023.

Honkai Star Rail Fu Xuan abilities

A Honkai Star Rail leaker has shared Fu Xuan’s skill and abilities, giving Trailblazers an early glimpse of how she’ll play. Below you’ll find how each could function in the game, but just like all leaks, these could change before her official release date.

• Basic ATK: Novaburst – Deals Quantum DMG equal to 25% of Fu Xuan’s Max HP to a single enemy.
• Skill: Known by Stars, Shown by Hearts – Activates Matrix of Prescience. Other team members will Apportion 65% of the DMG they receive (before this DMG is mitigated by any Shields) to Fu Xuan for 3 turn(s). All team members are affected by Matrix of Prescience and gain the Knowledge effect, which increases their respective Max HP by 3.0% of Fu Xuan’s Max HP, and increases CRIT Rate by 6.0%. When Fu Xuan is knocked down, the Matrix of Prescience will be dispelled.
  • Liu Ren Divination – If enemies attempt to apply Crowd Control debuffs to allies while the Matrix of Prescience is active, all allies will resist all Crowd Control debuffs applied by the enemy target during the current action. This effect can only be triggered once. Upon reactivating Matrix of Prescience, the number of times this effect can be triggered will be refreshed.
  • Dun Jia Divination – When Fu Xuan’s Ultimate is used, heals all other allies by 5% of Fu Xuan’s Max HP + 133.
  • Tai Yi Divination – When Matrix of Prescience is active, Fu Xuan will regenerate 20 extra Energy when she uses her Skill.
• Ultimate: Woes of Many Morphed to One – Deals Quantum DMG equal to 60% of Fu Xuan’s Max HP to all enemies and obtains 1 trigger count for the HP Restore from Fu Xuan’s Talent.
• Talent: Bleek Breeds Bliss – While Fu Xuan has not been knocked down, Misfortune Avoidance is applied to the entire team. While affected by Misfortune Avoidance, allies take 10.0% less DMG. HP Restore will be triggered for Fu Xuan when her HP falls to 50% or less of her Max HP. This effect will restore her HP by 80% of the amount of HP she is currently missing. This effect cannot be triggered if she receives a killing blow. This effect can be triggered 1 time per battle by default, and can possess up to 2 trigger counts maximum.
• Technique: Of Fortune Comes Fate – After the Technique is used, all team members receive a Barrier, lasting for 20 seconds. This Barrier can block all enemy attacks, and the team will not enter battle when attacked. Entering battle while the Barrier is active will have Fu Xuan automatically activate Matrix of Prescience at the start of the battle, lasting for 2 turn(s).

Honkai Star Rail Fu Xuan Eidolons

Fu Xuan’s rumored Eidolons have also surfaced online on the Honkai Star Rail leaks subreddit.

• Level 1 – Cycle of Life and Death: Knowledge increases CRIT DMG by 30%.
• Level 2 – Ominous Omen: When Matrix of Prescience is active while any team member is struck by a killing blow, all allies who were struck by a killing blow during this action will not be knocked down and 70% of their Max HP is immediately restored. This effect can trigger 1 time per battle.
• Level 3 – Duty Deity: Skill Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Talent Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv.15. 
• Level 4 – Propitous Star: When other allies under Matrix of Prescience are attacked, Fu Xuan regenerates 5 Energy.
• Level 5 – True Diviner: Ultimate Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Basic ATK Lv. +1, up to a maximum of Lv. 10.
• Level 6 – Salvation: Once Matrix of Prescience is activated, it will accumulate the total HP lost by all team members in the current battle. Fu Xuan’s Ultimate DMG will increase by 200% of the total HP lost by all team members in the current battle. The total HP lost by all team members in the current battle is capped at 120% of Fu Xuan’s Max HP. This value will be reset and re-accumulated after her Ultimate has been used.

Honkai Star Rail Fu Xuan Light Cone

Fu Xuan’s alleged 5-star Light Cone has also appeared on the same Reddit thread.

Vision

Increases the wearer’s Max HP by 24%. Increases the Max HP of the wearer’s allies equal to 95 of the wearer’s Max HP. When entering battle, restores HP to all allies equal to 80% of the respective HP difference between the characters’ Max HP and current HP, as well as increases Effect RES of all allies by 12% for 2 turns.
