Avatar Frontiers of Pandora release date

The release date for Frontiers of Pandora is December 7, 2023. This was announced at Ubisoft Forward 2023, and the game will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox X/S, PC and Amazon Luna.

Pre-Orders are open now on every available platform and players who purchase the game, will unlock the Child of Two Worlds Pack to embrace their unique backstory in style. Additionally, PlayStation 5 players will unlock the Aranahe Warrior Pack for free once they play the game.

Avatar Frontiers of Pandora will release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna and Microsoft Windows. There’s been no word on a Nintendo Switch release or any support for previous-gen hardware.

In the game, the player assumes control of a former RDA agent who was injured in combat and then placed in cryogenic sleep. The agent awakens after 12 years to find that the organization has been abusing and polluting Pandora, and so the agent decides to join the Na’vi.

James Cameron announced at Ubisoft Forward 2023 that the game takes place between the events of the first and second movies, when humanity has returned to Pandora to continue exploiting its resources.

You go on a journey to meet up with different Na’vi clans, learn new talents, and harvest resources in preparation for the upcoming onslaught on Pandora, set in the planet’s Western Frontier and the next target of RDA’s aggression.

At Ubisoft Forward 2023, an overview of the gameplay was shown, giving attendees a glimpse into the game’s story and mechanics. The wide landscape of Pandora is quite gorgeous, what with all the glowing flora.

The vast world of Pandora will be accessible to players once they have tamed monsters like Ikran and Zakru, allowing them to explore the planet while defending its various regions and destroying RDA bases.

Players can defend themselves from RDA and other hostile entities using a wide variety of human and Na’vi weapons, such as a Longbow or Guns.

The game also features a custom skill tree that unlocks as you progress through the game and unlocks powers that help you survive, fight, and reunite with the Na’vi clans and beautiful creatures. Players in Frontiers of Pandora can use the game’s crafting system to make items and weapons that will help them in their adventure.

Plus, you can play Frontiers of Pandora with a friend online or asynchronously in either a Single Player campaign or a Two Player campaign.

Avatar Frontiers of Pandora Collector’s Editions

With so much excitement surrounding the December release, Ubisoft have decided to go all out, offering three different editions of the game, a real treat for the collector’s out there!

The Standard Edition comes with the base game, costing $69.99. However, any preorders of Avatar Frontiers of Pandora will also receive the Child of Two Worlds Pack, which includes a gear set and weapon skin. You can preorder the Standard Edition on Best Buy or Amazon.

The Gold Edition will set you back $109.00 and it comes with the base game, Season Pass, two future DLCs and a unique banshee skin. Players can preorder the Gold Edition from the PlayStation store, Microsoft store or Ubisoft store, for PS5, Xbox Series X and PC editions respectively.

And finally, enter: The Ultimate Edition, costing $129.99. This collector’s edition comes with everything mentioned above as well as a digital artbook, Sarentu Heritage cosmetic pack which includes a beautiful mount, character, and weapon skin. The Ultimate Edition also includes the Sarentu Hunter Equipment pack for a gear set and unique weapon.
