Disguised Toast’s LoL team: Roster, NACL schedule, results, latest updates

Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang has put together a League of Legends team for the NA Challengers League. Here is everything you need to know about the creator’s LoL project.

Almost six months after venturing into esports with his first Valorant team, Disguised Toast is dipping his toes into another game, League of Legends. The popular creator and Offline TV member first alluded to his plan on May 22, when he asked Twitter for recommendations on “the best available NA League of Legends players”.

Days later, Disguised was announced as one of the newest faces in the North American Challengers League, the second tier of League of Legends in the league.

The announcement came with much fanfare after the recent developments in the Challengers League. Seven of the ten LCS teams withdrew from the NACL after Riot Games removed the rule that forced them to field rosters in the development league. Team Liquid, Evil Geniuses and FlyQuest are the only LCS sides that decided to remain in the NACL.

In a bid to make the NACL more sustainable, Riot Games is offering revenue sharing to the teams competing in the league, on top of a $100,000 prize pool. The developer is also looking to provide more competitive opportunities to NACL teams by establishing cross-region competition in the Americas “as early as 2024.”

Disguised LoL roster confirmed:

Disguised Toast announced on June 1 the roster that will be competing in the NACL. With the league having been reduced to ten teams from 16, the creator had no problem finding talented and experienced players for his squad.

Disguised’s NACL roster includes several players with LCS experience. Tristan ‘Zeyzal’ Stidam, who went to Worlds in 2018 and 2019 with Cloud9, is the most experienced name in the squad.

The veteran support will reunite with Aaron ‘FakeGod’ Lee and Tomio ‘Tomio’ Chan, his teammates on the Cloud9 Challengers team that won the Challengers Spring season.

The team will be coached by Greyson ‘Goldenglue’ Gilmer, who played for a number of LCS teams throughout his career, including Immortals, Team Liquid and Evil Geniuses. This will be his second coaching experience after guiding 100 Thieves Academy in 2021 and 2022.

Disguised LoL NACL schedule and results:

The regular season of the NACL came to a close on July 17, with Disguised finishing in third place with an 8-7-3 record (eight wins, seven draws, and three losses).

The top eight teams of the regular season have qualified for the double-elimination playoffs, which will culminate with the LAN Finals at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles on August 9.

On July 30, Disguised qualified for the NACL Finals after beating Cincinnati Fear 3-2 in a nail-biting upper bracket final. FlyQuest Challengers and Team Liquid Challengers will face off later today for a spot in the lower bracket final against Cincinnati Fear, scheduled for August 1.
