10. M13B

The M13 was always a popular choice in the original Warzone so it’s great to see its successor continue to cement its place in the Warzone 2 meta. Although the M13B’s TTK is nothing special this AR is extremely accurate and can down players from hundreds of meters away.

9. MCPR-300

Between all three one-shot sniper options, popularity rankings suggest that the MCPR-300 provides the best option. It’s not hard to understand why when you consider the sniper rifle’s immense stopping power and good mobility.

8. Tempus Razorback

Activision

Unlike most new guns the Tempus Razorback didn’t have an immediate effect on the meta. It was good but too inaccurate to displace the top-tier options. However, Warzone players have since gotten used to how it handles and come to appreciate just how potent this assault rifle can be.

7. Lachmann Sub

Better known as the MP5, the Lachmann Sub is the final weapon players unlock in its weapon platform. It’s versatile, quick, and strong enough to remain competitive in mid-range gunfights. It’s the classic well-rounded SMG that has remained in the Warzone 2 meta for several seasons.

6. Kastov 762

Season 5 briefly saw the Kastov 762 rise to the game’s top spot in popularity, but that run didn’t last long. It wasn’t buffed or nerfed but with its competitors falling off it left the top slot free for this rendition of the AK-103 to claim. As ever, the 762 is a hard-hitting AR that remains competition in most gunfights.

5. VEL 46

VEL 46 from MW2Activision

This MP7-inspired SMG was one of the biggest benefactors of the Season 5 update. It was always on the verge of being meta so a slight buff to its damage multipliers and was more than enough to elevate the VEL 46 to the top.

The Cronen Squall has been in and out of the Warzone meta more than any other gun. With Season 5 it once again rises to prominence even after it received yet another nerf. There’s just something about this gun’s punchiness that players can’t get enough of.

3. Signal 50

With explosive round snipers banned in Ranked Play, Warzone players have gone back to using the ever-reliable Signal 50. It might not be able to secure one-shot kills but its consistent two-shot downs are still valuable, especially in a coordinated squad.

2. ISO 45

Activision

Almost immediately upon arrival the ISO 45 became the best close-range SMG in Warzone. A nerf shortly after calmed the hype but it still remains one of the better guns in Warzone and continues to be a splendid choice for those who like its overall feel and exceptional TTK.

1. TAQ-V

Activision

In Season 1, the TAQ-V was the go-to choice for medium to long-range engagements. It then saw a steep decline but has since made a return after Warzone 2’s base health was increased. It isn’t the easiest gun to use but it shreds through enemies in the right hands.
